Spider & Web Control
Hey there! The key to controlling spiders is to spray them directly in order to reduce their numbers. But, living here in gorgeous old Australia it turns out that ridding ourselves entirely of all spiders is a tad tricky, and that is for a couple of reasons:
You might be near bushland,
Maybe you have a lot of trees in your backyard,
Your garden may need some weeding, or
You have a house with glass everywhere.
DO NOT EXPECT NOT TO HAVE RECURRENCE OF WEBBING SPIDERS!
We can’t spray all the trees,
They share the environment with us,
Your dwelling may have conditions that welcome spiders, andHome Products .
The pest control products applied are most effective when spiders contact them.
Clients with regular pest control services tend to receive a reduced volume of spider visits. Your technician can even provide a treatment schedule to help you keep those spider numbers down!
DO NOT REMOVE SPIDER WEBS
Avoid pulling down spider web! The spray must come into direct contact with spiders for it to be effective. Treatments can be done without removing the webs, as some spiders will not be in the webs at all during treatment. And when we pray, we’ll take care of those webs too and because spiders are still catching insects in those webs, that can help them come into contact with the spray as well.
How to make your property less appealing to spiders
Did you know that spiders may spin webs without even touching your home? They often journey from tree to bush by releasing a thread of silk and practicing a cute maneuver called ballooning where they sail through the air like flying!
Spiders can spin a new web in an hour or two, so if you knock down one, you’re not really solving anything.
The best way to make your home a less inviting place for spiders is to remove their food sources from your property. Since spiders feast on insects, a reduction in those little buggers will help, too! The majority of spiders enjoy lounging around lights since it pulls in flying insects. If these pesky flying insects is what spiders love to munch on there also may be an easier solution to swap out your bright white bulbs for yellow ones to minimize these annoying critters!
